Dandeli is a town in the western Indian state of Karnataka. Dandeli is located in Uttar Kannada district in Northern part of Karnataka. The Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, with its trails and dense forests, is home to animals including black panthers, monkeys and elephants, as well as many bird species. Dandeli can be visited during any time of the year and hence it is one of the popular destination. It comes under the lush Western ghats which makes it home to a number of Wildlife species and beautiful flora. Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is the second largest sanctuary in Karnataka. Well,not just that - if you are a daredevil looking for some adventure and adraline rush within you, then this place should top your buket list! A temple stands at the entrance to the limestone Kavala Caves, known for their stalagmite formations. West of the caves, Anshi National Park encompasses the Kali Tiger Reserve.
